DUNEDIN elopement questions

  • The Elopement Edit is designed for up to eight people in total, including the couple. If you would like to invite more guests, we can provide a tailored quote based on your plans.

  • You can choose a meaningful location within Dunedin, subject to access, permission and any applicable venue or council requirements. We can help you consider whether your preferred location will work for your ceremony.

  • Yes. Elopements outside Dunedin can be arranged, with travel and any additional logistical costs quoted separately.

  • No. Your marriage licence and application fee are additional, but we can guide you through the application process.

  • We will discuss a wet-weather alternative during the planning process. The best backup option will depend on your ceremony location and the experience you would like to create.

  • Yes. If you have already chosen some of your suppliers, we can create a planning and coordination package around your existing arrangements.

  • Absolutely. Additional photography, flowers, hair and makeup, food, cake and bespoke styling can all be arranged and quoted separately.

  • We recommend enquiring as soon as you have a preferred date or season. Short-notice elopements may also be possible, depending on supplier availability and marriage-licence timeframes.

  • Your marriage licence and application fee, venue or accommodation costs, food, beverages, fresh flowers, hair and makeup, cake and travel outside Dunedin are additional unless included in a tailored quote.
